Program Overview

Raven's Way is based in Sitka and at wilderness sites in the Sitka area. The average length of stay is 60 days with the ability to stay longer if needed. Students participate with a group of up to 11 other participants.

  • Matrix Model groups and relapse prevention
  • Wilderness expedition and ropes course activities
  • Activities relevant to Native cultures
  • Peer support groups
  • Home-like residential living
  • Aftercare planning and follow-up contacts

Accreditation

Raven's Way is accredited by The Joint Commission and licensed by the State of Alaska.

Additional Associated Accreditations

  • The Raven's Way academic program is part of the accredited Sitka School District.
  • Mt. Edgecumbe Hospital is accredited by The Joint Commission.

Raven's Way adheres to the ethical standards of the National Association of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors (NAADAC).
