Working together to create thriving families and healthy communities rooted in a tradition of wellness and prevention.

Our Goal

Reduce injury mortality and morbidity thru evidence based interventions. Increase the maturity and depth of knowledge by encouraging self sustainability and integration of local organizations through injury preventions teams.

Our Services

  • Injury Prevention Safety Shop: Motor vehicle safety thru Child Passenger Car Seat sales at cost (requires a community member willing to become a trained technician). Nike N7 Air Native shoes, bike helmets, motor cycle/ATV helmets, reflective garments for pedestrian and bicycle safety and fall prevention thru YakTrax sales.
  • Elder Fall Prevention Programs: Promote elder fall prevention through education, environmental evaluations, eye health, medication reviews and strength training.
  • Suicide and Domestic Violence Prevention: Information sharing, collaboration and support for suicide prevention, domestic violence and bullying prevention.
  • Community Injury Prevention Teams: Community teams meet and plan injury prevention programs and events for each community. "Be Safe, Be Seen" campaign.
  • Injury Prevention and Sustainability: Promote and support sustainable community based injury prevention in our region.
