04/13/2010—The SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC) Behavioral Health Division will host a community healing circle on Saturday, April 17, at the SEARHC Community Health Services building, 1212 Seward Avenue (behind the totem pole).
There is a potluck between 6-7 p.m., with the healing circle beginning at 7 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend. Talking circles have been in Native American cultures for thousands of years. Their purpose has been to share personal feelings, thoughts and beliefs.
