DUTIES: To Provide a safe and secure environmental for patients, visitors and staff at the hospital and other assigned facilities. Works with all age groups. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent. A minimum of (2) years in Security Service experience OR International Association of Healthcare Security and Safety certification and 6 months security guard experience. Valid driver's license. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Knowledge of security policies and procedures. Knowledge of responsibilities in responding to emergencies. Ability to relate well with patients, visitors and staff. Ability to relate well with patients, visitors and staff. Physical ability to walk rounds, handle violent people. Management of aggressive patients/visitors. Judgment in handling rish situations. Maintaining confidentiality.
