POSITION SUMMARY: Deputy Director is responsible for providing leadership in developing and executing human resources strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization. Specifically focused in the areas of supervision of HR staff in Sitka, recruitment and retention, workforce development and succession planning, change management, organizational and performance management, training and development. BASELINE QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: BA/BS in business or related field. 6 to 8 years of broad-based HR experience with minimum of 3 years at the leadership management level. Prior work experience demonstrates proven vision and leadership abilities. Certification with SHRM i.e. Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).
